The Dissent of the Pennsylvania Minority (1787)

In the dissent of the Pennsylvania minority, there were proposed amendments but weren't all included in the constitution. Some of the ones that did make it were:

4. That excessive bail ought not to be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel nor unusual punishments inflicted.

When someone is jailed, the police can't ask for more money that what the crime comes up to, extra fines or practice cruel punishments.

Amendment VIII.

5. That warrants unsupported by evidence, whereby any officer or messenger may be commanded or required to search suspected places; or to seize any person or persons, his or their property not particularly shall not be granted either by the magistrates of the federal governments or others.

Without a warrant, nobody has the right to go into your home, search your things and take something or someone.

Amendment IV.
